Terms and conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to all bookings. You agree to accept all these terms and conditions by confirming your booking.

General Bookings

Booking Confirmation:

  • All bookings are subject to availability, and Shangri-La Chauffeurs reserves the right to accept or decline bookings.

Accurate Information

It is your responsibility to provide precise booking details, including:

  • Pick-up and drop-off locations.

  • Pick-up time.

  • Number of passengers and luggage.

  • Please inform us in advance of any oversized or unusual items, such as golf bags or large boxes, as not all vehicles can accommodate them.

Waiting Time

  • We allow a 15-minute grace period from the agreed pick-up time. After this, additional charges will apply for waiting time.

  • Airport transfers are exempt from this rule; please refer to the Airport Transfers section.

Booking Changes

  • If you need to make any changes, please notify us at least 24 hours before your scheduled pick-up time.

  • Please note these changes are subject to availability.


Delays

  • Shangri-La Chauffeurs is not responsible for travel delays caused by factors outside our control, including traffic, road closures, accidents, or natural disasters.

Additional Stops

  • Any additional stops not included in the original booking will incur extra charges.

After-Hours Surcharge

  • A 30% surcharge applies to all transfers between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM.

Driver Safety

  • The driver has the right to terminate the journey without a refund in case of verbal or physical abuse by the client(s).

Airport Transfers

.Meeting Point

  • Please meet your driver at the designated chauffeur bay at the terminal.

Waiting Time

  • Domestic flights: Meet your driver within 30 minutes of landing.

  • International flights: Meet your driver within 60 minutes of landing.

  • Extended wait times will incur parking fees or may result in booking cancellation with full charges unless prearranged.


3. Flight Timing

  • Complimentary waiting time starts from the actual landing time per the terminal’s arrival board, regardless of delays.

Weddings, Events, and Tours

Deposits and Payments

  • A 50% deposit is required when booking and is non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • The remaining balance must be paid 48 hours before the event. Failure to pay the balance will result in cancellation without a refund.


Extended Duration

  • If the event exceeds the agreed booking time, additional charges will apply.

Vehicles

Availability

  • A standard car will be provided based on availability unless a specific vehicle is requested during booking.

  • In unexpected circumstances (e.g. mechanical issues), the following best available vehicle will be provided.


Conduct in Vehicles

  • Eating, drinking, and smoking are strictly prohibited.

  • Clients will be held liable for damages caused by their actions or negligence.

Driver Schedules

  • Vehicles cannot be held beyond the agreed time unless prearranged.

Credit Card Payments

  • A 5% surcharge applies to all bookings paid via credit card.

  • Shangri-La Chauffeurs is not responsible for any additional charges imposed by your card provider.

Cancellations and No-Shows

General Bookings

  • Cancellations made 24 hours before the scheduled transfer will not incur charges.

  • Cancellations within 12 hours will incur a 100% charge.

  • Cancellations after 6:00 PM for bookings scheduled between 12:00 AM and 10:00 AM the next day will incur full charges.

Major Bookings (Weddings, Events, etc.)

  • Deposits for significant events are non-refundable.

  • Cancellations within 24 hours of the event will incur full charges.

No-Shows

  • Clients who fail to show up will be charged the full booking fee.
